Happy Pride

I was at the grocery store yesterday and I ran into a fellow that wanted to kick it with me back in the day. Out of nowhere he proceeded to start telling me how my life should be. Then he moved on to discuss how this pandemic isn’t real. I asked, “So how do you feel about same sex marriage?” He literally clutched his pearls and said, “Oh NO!” Then another man came and said he’d heard us talking and tried to illustrate all the ways I was wrong in my views. I spoke my points, then ended up walking away, to continue to be a free thinking, free bodied, love forward, individual. He reminded me of why I had chosen to not deal with him.

Mind you I had on this tee during our exchange. He still didn’t get it. So I decided to make this video and make sure all my peeps know that I love and support them, always. Doesn’t matter who’s around. Doesn’t matter if they try to gang up on me. I still believe in freedom. And I will not be silenced or let my loved ones (even those IDK yet) be silenced or ridiculed, or spoken negatively about.

Never have I ever given into the opinion that a person shouldn’t be able to love who they want, be around who they want, and be who they want. Love, friends. At the end of the day it’s about love. Love of self, love of others. Happy Pride to all my beautiful friends ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
