Vegan Cinnamon Crisps
Some days you just want some comfort food. And other days you want something sweet. Why not combine the two and create something warm, soothing, able to healthily satisfy any womanly cravings, but not knock you off your eating well path, or make you feel bad. Enter in Cinnamon Crisps. Cinnamon Crisps are like a rainy October day when you’re done with work then realize your favorite show is coming on. They’re amazing and so easy to make. It’s just five ingredients. So let’s get to the comfy cooking! Ingredients: One pack of whole grain tortillas (cut in fours, like a yummy pie) 2 teaspoons of cinnamon ½ cup of olive oil 2 packets of stevia 1 tablespoon Vegan butter Steps: 1.Warm the olive oil in a medium sized pan for 3 minutes. You want to get the oil hot but not sizzling to where it’ll pop. 2.Once the olive oil is warm, add ¼ of the butter. 3.Next sprinkle cinnamon throughout the pan. Use about ¼ of the cinnamon. 4.Place each tortilla triangle in the pan and let the olive oil and butter soak into one side of the tortilla. 5.Once that’s soaked in quickly flip the tortilla and sprinkle on more cinnamon, then sprinkle on stevia. 5.Let the tortilla brown, flip and brown the other side and sprinkle stevia. 7.Repeat all steps for each tortilla. The key with the ingredients is to use a little at a time. You can add or subtract based on what you like. If you adore butter feel free to use more, if not use less. There should be enough for every tortilla to get covered in ingredient goodness. Healthy eating warriors!
